Total Training Announces Video Training for Adobe's New Creative Suite and Updated Versions of its Creative Professional Products

– Software buyers get a primer with included training CDs, then can step up to the full instructional series—

PhotoshopWorld - Miami Beach, FL, September 30, 2003 – Total Training, a recognized leader in the production and distribution of video-based training for some of the industry's most popular software programs, today announced training for the new Adobe ® Creative Suite® and all of the individual design and publishing components that comprise the suite. Total Training will be demonstrating the new instruction at booth #306 during Photoshop World in Miami.

The interactive video-based training title, Total Training Presents: Adobe Creative Suite – From Design to Delivery, comes alongside the release announcement for Adobe Creative Suite this week, making it the earliest third-party training material available for this highly anticipated product, and the only one Adobe is packaging in the box with its software installation discs.

"Adobe Creative Suite is a complete design and publishing solution for both print and the Web," said Dave Burkett, senior director of product management, Creative Pro Business Unit at Adobe. "Creative professionals will be able to hit the ground running with this new product thanks to the Total Training video instruction we have included with the software, as well as through the full training series."

One hour of value-added educational content from Total Training will be included as one of five installation CDs in the product case for Creative Suite. The CD enables users to get up to speed quickly on the new features and time-saving benefits of Creative Suite and provides a preview of the more in-depth instruction available in all the Total Training titles being announced today.

"Introducing our new training series simultaneously with Adobe's software release is a testimonial to our commitment to getting users up to speed right out of the gate," said Brian Maffit, Total Training chief creative officer. "Total Training works hand-in-hand with the software, showing users how the programs in the Creative Suite work together from design through print or Web publishing."

Led by industry expert and professional designer Steve Holmes, Total Training Presents: Adobe Creative Suite – From Design to Delivery offers three content-rich DVDs—over 12 hours of video training—to provide overviews of how Creative Suite components work together. Viewers learn how to use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for design, combine them with InDesign and Acrobat for layout and print publishing, leverage GoLive for Web publishing, and employ Version Cue to track version changes in all components.

Total Training is also announcing comprehensive training series for each of Adobe's newly updated versions of its creative professional software packages. These new training products include: Total Training for Photoshop® CS, Total Training for GoLive® CS, Total Training for Illustrator® CS, and Total Training for InDesign® CS. These new titles accompany the previously released Total Training Presents: Adobe Acrobat® 6 Essentials and Specialty Volumes, to round out the offering for creative professionals.

Each series takes an entertaining and informative approach, and even provides discs with program files to allow users to follow along in the software as they watch the training. "Our goal is to help users get the most out of the software features while keeping it fun and engaging along the way," added Steve Holmes.

Total Training Presents: Adobe Creative Suite – From Design to Delivery is available for $99. Training DVDs for Photoshop CS, Illustrator CS, InDesign CS, and Acrobat 6.0, start at $99. CDs and DVDs are available through resellers, or direct from Total Training at www.totaltraining.com, or by calling 1-888-368-6825.
