When you visit www.totaltraining.com, place an order directly from Total Training, or request to be placed on our mailing list; whether online, by phone; or in person, or if you participate in a contest, promotion or survey, the company may collect information from you, such as your name, email and postal addresses, and phone and numbers.
Online Registration
Total Training maintains a marketing database for purposes of periodically sending notices via email or via telephone conversation to people who have elected to receive them. These notices may be new product announcements; newsletters, special event announcements, related product information or other items which Total Training believes will be of interest to participants. Additions to the list are by Opt-in only, that is, participants must have voluntarily supplied information to Total Training. The information collected and maintained is an individual's first and last name, email address, and may also include postal address and phone number. Total Training collects information for the email list in the following ways:
- Online registration through the Web site
- Customer orders for products, either online or via telephone order
- Tradeshow or Special Events where by individuals supplied information directly to Total Training
These methods are not all-inclusive and Total Training may at some time use other methods. In all cases, Total Training will update the opt-in database only with information voluntarily supplied by individuals. The information supplied to Total Training may be maintained on other servers not owned by Total Training, as Total Training uses outside vendors to manage the email database and email distribution.

Use of Cookies
A cookie is a small piece of data placed on a visitor's computer when certain portions of the site are visited. A cookie contains information that identifies individuals so that Total Training can analyze use of the site and make changes to better suit the needs of visitors. Some cookies also enable Total Training to recognize return visitors and enhance their user experience.
Individuals who do not wish to receive cookies can configure their browsers to post a warning when the Web site server is sending a cookie. Visitors can then refuse cookies on a case by case basis. As an alternative, individuals can configure their browsers to refuse all cookies. Cookies are not required for use on any part of the Total Training Web site.
Forum Registration
Total Training requires visitors to register with their names and email addresses if they wish to post messages to any of Total Training's Forums. This information aids Total Training personnel in moderating forums and keeping their content consistent with Total Training's rules for forum usage. Total Training may also capture a visitor's IP address for the same purpose. As described previously, email addresses collected from forum registration are posted to the email database. General Browsing
Navigational information about where visitors go on www.totaltraining.com is gathered by Total Training along with information about the technical efficiencies of the website and services (i.e., time to connect to our Web site, time to download pages, etc.). This information allows Total Training to see which areas of the website are most visited and enables the company to better understand visitors' experiences while navigating through the site, and give insight to ways to improve the quality of the website by recognizing and delivering more of the features, areas and services visitors prefer. In the process of gathering navigational information, non-personally identifiable information (for example, domain type, browser version, service provider and IP address) may be collected which will provide information regarding a visitor's use of www.totaltraining.com (such as the time of a visitor's last visit to a page on our site).
Use of Information
Total Training does not share or otherwise distribute any information collected online by Total Training with third parties. In the future, should assets of Total Training that include the marketing database be acquired by a third party, Total Training will take steps to continue the level of privacy established with visitors when they originally provided their information to Total Training.
Coupons:
All Total Training coupons may be redeemed up until 11:59 PM on the expiration date indicated on the coupon. Any coupon that does not have an expiration date indicated has expired as of December 31, 2005 and is no longer valid.
